Blue koi fish1/13/2024 ![]() ![]() ![]() It is kinda "ancestor trail", where as an ancestor is the parent color itself. Reverse mutation could reveal anywhere: while breeding solid colored fishes, spotted and even multicolored. Maybe you've noticed that sometimes you get the color wich is different from parent fishes colors. But it is faster if you breed 2 same colors to take needed mutation (the offspring wouldn't split the probability for 2 colors, it all would spread for the only one). There is no any difference if you breed 2 same colors or 2 different, both of them could give a color mutation. I do not have any idea how i got the Beige color, but i know that it is a brown mutaion, because while breeding 2 beige fishes it brings you a brown fish sometimes.īeige, teal and light green are rare color mutations. Purple + purple = pink, light blue, brown Orange + orange = 4-5 orange / 3 orange + 1 yellow / 3 orange + 2 red Yellow + yellow = 5 yellow / 4 yellow + 1 orange Some combinations and avaliable offspring: That rule works for double- and multicolored fishes as well. ![]() Remember that some colors could give you an inverse vector mutation (for example, purple could bring you back to the grey color orange could give yellow one and so on). You could randomly achieve a pure new color while breeding spotted fishes, but the chance is about 5%. It increases the chance that you'll get color mutation. To achieve a new color prefer to breed 2 same solid colored fishes. ![]()
